Matthew 2:1-2 (NKJV)

What questions should we ask ourselves as we go thru the holidays together?

1. Am I truly “happy” this Christmas season?

Maybe you’re down because of

• loss
• disappointment
• fear
• pressure

2. Am I truly “content” this Christmas season?

A contentment that you come to realize as you go thru life!

“Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.” (Phil. 4:11)

A contentment that is not depended on things!

“I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and suffer need.” (Phil. 4:12)

A contentment that comes thru power of Christ!

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Phil. 4: 13)

3. Am I truly “expectant” this Christmas season?

• Are any of our relationships going to be mended t his Christmas?
• Is God going to speak into our lives this Christmas?
• Are we going to make a difference in anyone else’s life this Christmas?
