TO “BE READY” FOR THE LORD’S RETURN, WE NEED TO:

1. PUT ON “POWER”

“But put on the Lord Jesus Christ” (Rom. 13:14a)

“Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued (clothed) with power from on high.” (Lk. 24:49)

How do you “put on” the power of God?

  • Wanting
  • Waiting
  • Walking

2. PUT ON “FOCUS”

“and make no provision for the flesh” (Rom. 13:14b)

3. PUT ON “SENSITIVITY”

“to fulfill its lusts” (Rom. 13:14c)

“and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful.” (Mark 4:19)
