COMPARING

I QUIT
“COMPARING”
2 Corinthians 10:12 (NKJV)

People who regularly compare themselves to others may find “motivation” to improve, but may also experience feelings of deep dissatisfaction, guilt, or remorse, and engage in destructive behaviors like lying or disordered eating.” (Psychology Today)

WHY SHOULD WE QUIT COMPARING OURSELVES TO OTHERS AND WHAT MAKES IT SO UNHEALTHY?

1. The path it leads us down (1 Sam. 8:4-5).

(1 Sam. 8:7)
(1 Sam. 8:9)

2. The position it puts us in.

3. The pitfall it brings to us (2 Tim. 4:10).
