What does a life of closeness with God look like?

1. A life of fellowshipping with God

“And Enoch walked with God…” (Gen. 5:24)

• It’s “unhurried time” with Him
• It’s “learning His ways” (Ps. 103:7)
• It’s “becoming like Him” (Ex. 34:29-30)(2 Cor. 3:18)

2. A life of listening to Him

“Speak for your servants hears”  (1 Sam. 3:10)

How do we listen to God and how does He speak?

• Burdens
• Circumstances
• People
• Silence
• Pain

3. A life of waiting on Him

“Who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him” (Isa. 64:4)

How can you truly wait on God?

• He has a “plan”
• He has the right “time”
• He knows what is “best”
