Proverbs 2:6-7 (NKJV)

WHERE DOES THIS WISDOM SHOW UP IN OUR LIVES?

1. In our silence

“Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; when he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.” (Prov. 17:28)

The Bible says a wise person does what with their lips?

“He who guards his mouth preserves his life, but he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.” (Prov. 13:3)

“In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise.” (Prov. 10:19)

Encourage with their lips
“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” (Eph. 4:29)

2. In our decisions

“And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he repeated them in the hearing of the Lord.” (1 Sam. 8:21)

3. In our values

“No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” (Ps. 84:11)
