A Hometown City Who Got Offended

CHANGE
“A Hometown City Who Got Offended”
Mark 6:1-6 (NKJV)

What can a hometown city that got offended teach us about change?

1. When we become offended by change, it starts with questions.

Questions that were motivated by:

  1. Fear (v. 2)
  2. Logic (v. 3)

2. When we become offended by change, it continues with rejection. (v. 4)(1 Sam. 8:7)

When people begin to reject change, two things begin to happen:

  1. Turn off (Mt. 26:58)
  2. Turn away (Jn. 6:66)

3. When we become offended by change, it ends with status quo. (v. 5-6)
