National Prayer
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)

 

The kind of prayer we should pray for our nation if it is going to turn around:

1. A prayer of responsibility. (2 Chron. 7:14a)

It’s our responsibility:

  1. To live out our faith (1 Peter 2:11-12)
  2. To pray that God would work in the hearts of our leaders (Prov. 21:1)
  3. To vote biblical values and not just what’s best for us

2. A prayer of repentance. (2 Chron. 7:14b)

Repentance comes on three level and they must be in this order:

  1. Personal level (Ps. 51:3-4)
  2. Church level (Rev. 2:4-5)
  3. National level (Neh. 8:1-3)

3. A prayer of reassurance. (2 Chron. 7:14c)
